Quite Broken is a studio for creative self-help, rooted in thoughtful & artful inquiry

Much self-help proceeds from the knowing authority of a healer, guru, or celebrity—and swears a promise of transformation or cure.

But much of the time the most meaningful help comes from being seen in struggle—and seeing the truth of struggles with depth, context, compassion and curiosity

Quite Broken goes for the big vital questions, not the easy certain answers. it invites artists, journalists, and humanists of all kinds to probe these big questions with study and play. Released from obligations to project authority, we freely embrace short, whimsical forms—including slim and affordable books, t-shirts, bumperstickers, and neon signs

While we make our materials with intention, we also know they’ll only come alive in real conversation and actual practice, so our offerings do our best to excite exchange and community, and we also host gatherings in person and online

We hope this short introduction can invitation, too. Talk back on Substack. Join our mailing list. Help shape the books we’re making or just introduce yourself.
